Important launch note

These terms are a production-ready starting template for Maggie Home and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before public launch. They are written for a household command center that may include calendars, chores, kid profiles, ads, smart-home controls, and AI voice features.

If you configure a legal business entity, mailing address, support address, refund policy, arbitration clause, or state-specific consumer notice, those details should be inserted into the final attorney-reviewed version.

Using Maggie Home

Maggie Home helps households organize calendars, chores, meals, notes, smart-home shortcuts, reminders, and related family routines. You are responsible for the information you enter, the permissions you grant, and the household members or managed profiles you create.

You may not use Maggie Home for illegal activity, harassment, stalking, surveillance without consent, unsafe smart-home commands, account abuse, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to bypass security, billing, or plan limits.

Accounts, household admins, and invitations

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. Household owners and admins are responsible for inviting users, assigning roles, managing child profiles, reviewing permissions, and removing access when someone should no longer participate in the household.

If you invite another person, you confirm you have permission to share their email address and household context with Maggie Home for the purpose of delivering the invitation and managing access.

Kid profiles and parental responsibility

Kid profiles are intended to be created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian. Children should not create their own independent account unless the final production policy and consent workflow allow it.

By creating or managing a kid profile, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have authority from the parent or legal guardian to provide the information and manage the profile.

Subscriptions, trials, billing, and ads

Free plans may include advertising or sponsored placements. Paid plans, trials, renewals, cancellations, invoices, and payment methods may be handled by Stripe, an app store, or another payment provider, depending on how the account was purchased.

Plan features, limits, prices, and trial offers may change over time. If a paid subscription is canceled, the account may lose access to paid features at the end of the applicable billing period unless otherwise required by law or stated in the checkout flow.

Integrations and third-party services

Maggie Home may connect to services such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, recipe sources, smart-home platforms, advertising providers, email providers, OpenAI, Stripe, and other third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

Maggie Home cannot guarantee that third-party calendars, devices, recipes, voice services, ad networks, or smart-home integrations will always be available, accurate, or error-free.

AI voice, reminders, and safety

AI voice and speech features are convenience tools. They may misunderstand requests, produce inaccurate responses, fail to complete actions, or be unavailable. Do not rely on Maggie Home for emergencies, medical decisions, legal advice, financial advice, child safety supervision, medication reminders, security monitoring, or other safety-critical uses.

Smart-home commands can affect physical devices. You are responsible for confirming that any connected device is safe to control and that household members understand what the dashboard may do.

Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of household content you enter into Maggie Home. You give Maggie Home the limited permission needed to host, process, display, sync, transmit, back up, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload or share household notes, profile photos, recipes, calendars, device names, emails, and other content.

Service changes and account termination

Maggie Home may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, plan limits, or preview functionality. We may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these terms, creates security risk, abuses the service, or fails to pay required fees.

You may request deletion or export of household data through the account or support tools once those production workflows are configured.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Maggie Home is provided as-is and as-available to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free data, perfect calendar sync, successful smart-home control, or that reminders and AI responses will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maggie Home and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, household disruption, device actions, missed reminders, or third-party service failures.

Changes to these terms

When these terms materially change, Maggie Home should present the updated version for acceptance or provide another legally appropriate notice. The acceptance record stored with your account identifies the version you accepted.
